Jingle bells at Pehal!

Christmas is associated with a feeling of warmth and love which reaches out to the ones we care for. It is all about sharing and feeling the joy of giving.


OUR DEAREST TINY TOTS


Such are the feelings which the marked the Christmas Day Celebrations at Project Pehal on 19th December.
The day started with the volunteers assembling at the room along with the teacher and the children. After that started all the preparations. From decorating the Christmas Tree (for which credit goes mainly to Nikita) to entertaining the children with a variety of stories to decorating the whole room!

SANTA IN ACTION!

The best part was the role played by SANTA! (Swastik). He did a marvellous job of making the children laugh and literally spread the joy! After the toffee distribution by Santa, snacks were distributed amongst the children who ate them with great relish.
Then it was time for a game!


PIN THE SANTA'S NOSE!


PIN IN THE SANTA'S NOSE, although in our case it was Bindi on Santa's nose!! The children and the volunteers enjoyed the game tremendously and the child who got the bindi closest to Santa's nose was given a prize.
All in all, it was a wonderful day celebrated with the true essence of Christmas.
